An occasional Monday smorg will do once every six months. The owner's wife is gorgeous. The restaurant is a dump for decor. Nothing more to add.

I can't express how happy I am to have Baba's Indian Cuisine in Nelson. Not only is their food authentic but great tasting. My personal favorite is the butter chicken with an order of garlic naan bread. You can't go wrong with this!

If you like spicy East Indian food, this is the place to go. The service was fast; try and get a table outside in good weather. My vindaloo was perfect--not hot enough to burn the roof of your mouth, but spicy enough to enjoy the flavors. Throw in great rice and papadums, and it was a great meal!

Went here for dinner. They definitely did not use the microwaves - I was watching based on previous reviews. Pros: good food, good variety, veggie options, good spice. Cons: the naan was more of a pizza shape than naan shape. However, the taste was good.

We loved Baba's! We really didn't expect to find great Indian food in a small town but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very flavourful and the service was very good.
