Yamagoya is always a pleasant experience, but the food is average. There are fresher and tastier options, but not in Fernie. Perhaps a bit more fish in the 'rolls' would be good....

I love Japanese food and yamagoya do it well, We went in a group and had a really good time, Service was good and i was very happy with my meal, love the little private booths too.

I love every single thing that's I've tried here. I also love that the staff are friendly, efficient, and casual, they make you feel really comfortable. It is loud, which I personally like once in a while, especially when I go with my friend and her kids because we aren't as worried about them being a little noisy.

We had read about this restaurant in an article on Ski magazine, then heard all about it in town. Great little sushi restaurant across the street from the hotel. Prices were surprisingly affordable, service good and the Lobster Roll was delicious. Small place so make a reservation if going on a weekend.

If you are not familiar with this cuisiune staff is very helpful love to eat on the deck in the summer and very good if you r alone or would like a really lively meal in the bar. Best ever
