Loved our Rib Steak - large enough for two to share, and perfectly prepared. Fabulous desserts, salads and sides. Nice atmosphere music, not too loud. Great service. We will be back. Soon.

Looked on line at web site . Gave it a try. First prices were 30 percent higher once we actually got to eating establishment . Nice view ,good service. Our order was taken promptly and breakfast arrived in a timely manor. All good BUT when I am offered a choice of eggs give me what I order . Scrambled means... More

This was my 1st time eatting here and it was Great!! One of the owners served us and she was so friendly and made us feel like we were family!! The food was served on a Hot Hot Plate which was very nice as most do not do this. I had the Bacon Mushroom with Cheese Burger it came with... More

By far the finest, most imaginative dining on the coast. All preparations are in house down to the smallest detail. Absolutely no preservatives and as much local food as is reasonably possible. The chef's previous experience at Joe Fortes in Vancouver has allowed him and his wife to really blossom in this tough-to-find location. They don't advertise but once you... More

Drizzly day felt like treating ourselves to a late brunch. I had Smoked salmon bennie. Delish!! Fresh spinach, lovely flaky smoked salmon with a touch of fresh dill. Amazing fresh red potato hash browns and homemade preserves. Hubby had the meat lovers hearty breakfast. He was in meathead heaven. Ham slice was more like a slivered pork chop, eggs were... More

I've had the pleasure of returning to Saltwater at least twice (maybe 3 times) since my last review. The first time was for a social function so I had a chance to try out the meeting room which has a separate entrance (if you want). We were served an amazing array of appies, including awesome crab cakes (not usually a... More

I tried this place a few weeks ago after hearing from a few people that it was ok. The reviews here make it seem special, I don't agree. We were three people. Each entree was poor. I had a lamb shank, it was mostly fat. Another person had the New York Strip Loin, it was gritty. A 3rd person had... More

The saltwater chophouse has quickly become one of my husband and I's favorite place to dine on the coast! Actually all of my favorite restaurants are on the coast but this one is set apart for a few reasons. The food is extremely fresh, its local (as much as possible) and organic, and the meat is "cruelty free"..which is very... More

It's been a while since I last reviewed Saltwater but we've made it a regular stop when we want a good meal, from their fresh-ground hamburgers that are to-die-for to the succulent, mouth-watering ribeye and sometimes (usually Cheryl) exploring their other offerings. Well, they have a new menu with lots of additions (almost too many to choose from) and we... More

Have been a regular for sometime now. Just had Thanksgiving Dinner at the SC&L. Wow, best Thanksgiving dinner that I have ever had. Smoked turkey breast, ham, mashed potatoes, b sprouts, candied yams, squash, and on and on. The serving was huge, just like at home. We love everything about the SC&L. The owners are so friendly, the service excellent.... More
