Description: The Tree at Cadmore is a trendy restaurant and bar tucked away inside a traditional English country inn - The Tree Hotel - in High Wycombe. The restaurant at The Tree could be described as rustic-chic dressed up with exposed wooden beams, Persian carpets, slate floors, cosy armchairs and antique French furnishings and the atmosphere here is intimate and romantic making it ideal for weekend escapes, discreet business deals and dinner parties. Chef Daljit Dusanj, formerly from Axis inside London's iconic One Aldwych hotel, has designed a fresh and creative international menu with a nod towards south east Asia. The bar at The Tree, which serves real ales, is ideal for pre-dinner tipples.

This restaurant was a great find. I saw reviews and booked it to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. The food was great and very well presented. The decor was traditional, and yet modern. I can imagine a huge roaring fire in the fireplace in Winter. The host and staff really could not do enough for us. Overall a very pleasant... More

From the beautifully decorated restaurant from the very warm welcome we got from who we assumed to be the manager, we were glad we chose to eat at The Tree from the moment we walked in. The guy who served us was very enthusiastic, obviously passionate about his restaurant and made sure to tell us the soup and fish of... More

Nothing to criticise. All the food was great: I had the cajun spiced corn fed chicken breast and was surprised by the portion size, the jus it was served with, and the overall tastiness of the meal! If you don't fancy chicken this place has it all: usual pub grub, indian food, thai selections, and the fine dining options. Though... More

We stopped off here for an evening meal on our way back to Lancashire from Kent. The pleasant ambience of the place made a good start and the very friendly welcome helped us to relax from our travelling. The food was very good indeed; we both had fish dishes for our main course which were excellently presented and, due to... More

On a recent visit back to the UK I took my mother to The Tree at Cadmore End, near High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, for Mothering Sunday. I am a confirmed traditional Sunday Roast person whenever I can source it, and there was a choice of lamb or pork on the carvery. As lamb is definitely in the minority compared to... More

My wife and me have visited The Tree at Cadmore on several occasions (as a couple and with family). On each occasion we are always impressed by the superb food on offer at very reasonable prices. In equal measure, we're always impressed by the very smart decoration, which creates a lovely ambience to dine. Try the Sunday lunch offer that... More

Had been to the Sunday carvery before which was very nice. This time went for dinner on a Saturday evening and unlike some restaurants that want you all sat together (for their convenience) we could sit any-where we wanted so chose 'the snug' area so we could enjoy our romantic meal for two. We chose the prawns and scallops for... More
