Odds has closed. There is a new restaurant in the same location but now reborn as Offshore and it is so much better. Give the new restaurant a try, you won't regret going along.
A restaurant that sells local food will always get my vote. I love chicken but rarely eat it in restarants as cannot be sure of how it (and many othher meats )have been reared). I had no problem here. There was alist of local suppliers on the menu. It was also well cooked and good portion sizes. The surroundings are... More
Once again a faultless meal. All fresh ingredients....I have never tasted a fillet steak so good!!! We travel from Dorset to Newquay at least 5 times a year and visit Odds 4 times out of 5 and have NEVER had a bad meal yet. Please do not be put off by location it is well worth the short drive from... More
Nice food, however tiny portions, not family friendly, quite expensive. You are paying for the view which is stunning. Fairly cold service. Had to go to the chip shop on the way home as we were all still hungry and believe me we are not big eaters or greedy pigs.
www.oddstherestaurant.co.uk WOW, Adam and his team at Odd's really do go all out to prepare and present you with an awesome evening accompanied with some of the finest, fresh food I've tasted all of which comes from Adam's farm, Ellenglaze or from locally sourced producers who are listed at the front of his menu. I went in one week on... More
Beautiful restaurant, very attentive staff, food first class, prices no higher than other local quality restaurants, my vegetarian friend was catered for, having two options each course to choose from. Couldn't fault our evening at Odds, loved every minute. Will be returning next time we have a special occasion to celebrate.
Often had this place recommended, by word of mouth. It would not be an everyday visit - a nice modern restaurant set into the hillside ( which is why when you pull into the car park you wonder if you are in the right place!, the menu on display then encourages you to enter the stair chamber ) It has... Great idea, great location, great views, great food and great staff. We were well impressed and will definitely be back.
I have now visited Odds twice in the last 5 weeks. The food is excellent with great care taken by the Chef with presentation. Service is first class and of course the location and views from the dining area are breathtaking. As we ate we watched the sunset over the sea. On the pricey side but the quality of the... More
I took my girlfriend and her parents here for her 30th birthday. I booked a room for 8.00pm. We arrived and had a drink before being showed to our table. Nice real ale but in bottles!! When we got to our table, which did have the most fantastic view but unfortunately was next to a table of around ten other... More
