Good service and plenty of choices on the menu. Food fresh and prepared to order. Love it. If you eat outside, there are views to die for all around. What a wonderful setting to eat a meal. Staff are friendly and courteous.

Sound Bites is currently the 36th best place to eat in Plymouth according to Tripadvisor reviewers as 22 out of 29 reviews gave it 5 stars. About 6 months ago it was ranked about 7th best!
...and it's a caf! (with no accented e.)
This illustrates the flaw in Tripadvisor where reviewers try to rank a caf and a fine...

Dear TravelNutBristol,
I am sorry you did not enjoy your visit to Sound Bites. I agree, clearly the Trip Advisor ranking system is flawed, there is no way we can, and need to, compare with restaurants like Tanners. What we can do however is clearly display our average prices and our 'cuisine' so people can easily search for the type...

The Sound Bites Grill was conveniently located near our hotel (Best Western Plus) and away from the tourist-trap of downtown Sedona. Although we had a long wait to be seated (with a reservation), the food was good, the live band was very entertaining and our server was efficient and pleasant.
Lovely accommodating staff, we had two amazing breakfasts and then couldn't resist taking away some freshly made cake. Definitely the best cafe in the local area, well worth a visit.
The worst breakfast ever. Food either overcooked to death or raw, the white pud and sausage which were cold not cooked.. My order was the only one when I arrived so the cook was hardly overworked, she seemed more interested in drying dishes than cooking my order. Egg frazzled to a solid rubbery mass, fried bread and black pud too...

I have been a regular at Sound Bites for many years and always been impressed with the range and consistant high quality of the food on offer. The portions are generous and the prices reasonable. Keep up the good work!
This is a great place to eat. It really gives the range that anyone could want. If you feel like being naughty they do fabulous breaksfasts with quality products - the meat and sausages are real quality not the off the shelf stuff. On the other hand if you feel like being virtuous there are some great healthy meals -...

Thought we would try this highly rated restaurant. If this is one of the best places to eat in Plymouth what a poor reflection on other food establishments in this town.
Arrived at midday thought the menu offered good selection fairly priced.
Our order was taken by an unfriendly girl obviously lacking in customer service skills, pointing to the fridge...

A great place for cooked breakfasts and takeaway sarnies. I love the haddock breakfast (only available up until midday). OK so its not a luxury restaurant but the food is good and the view is great plus there is plenty of free parking (1st 2 hours is free). A good place to cure your hangover.
We keep our boat in the marina at QAB, so we have been frequent visitors over the last few years. We have never been disappointed by the food; the breakfasts are well cooked and of good quality, and they have interesting options for those who do not want a cooked breakfast (I love the peanut butter and banana and toast...
