After some of the reviews here we were expecting something special, sadly we were disappointed! The food was good but not spectacular and the service and setting were nothing better than average, all a bit of an anticlimax really.

This is a small restaurant where the food is excellent. I can't believe that someone gave this a poor review! We had risotto and pizza. both excellent. It wasn't busy so there wasn't much atmosphere, and to be honest it's not trendy or luxurious but the food is so good and the portion sizes are generous. Very impressed!

This is a small family run restaurant where it feels like you are eating proper individually prepared Italian food....the Limoncello was a lovely end to a very tasty meal!!

My partner and i dined at Gemellis last saturday night 20 April, the food ambience and service were first class and the experience was good value for money.We would definitly reccommend a visit to this fine establishment.

We had a super meal, in casual, friendly surroundings. The cooking was first rate and the service attentive and efficient. Thoroughly recommended - we will certainly be back.
