the food is ok but the coffee is very expensive compared to the rest of the meal and it isn't even very good. I haven't been back as I felt a mediocre restaurant coffee was a sad end to an average dinner.

We stumbled across Indi's one night whilst out looking for a nice meal. I'd heard good things about the place, but didn't know what to expect!
We turned up on a busy Saturday night, but the friendly staff still managed to get us a table - and I'm very glad they did!
The menu is very varied - not at...

We were booked in as a large group, 13 people. They offered us the room downstairs which had a large table, and sounded ideal. We were booked for 8pm, and as we were a large group, were asked to order in advance, which we did, 2 days prior by email. Then we were phoned and asked if we could come...

The staff make this worthwhile . The ONLY down is the lamb dishes - the lamb is always tough . Other cheaper restaurants manage to do it right , but we love the place . Maybe they can address the consistently bad lamb meat ?
I've tried all the Indian restaurants in Bournemouth and Indis is simply the best. The flavour of the food, the friendliness of the staff and the way the place is run gets 10 out of 10. It is more expensive than other Indian restaurants in the area but you get what you pay for. I am a regular and go...

Having read other very good reviews our expectations were high. We pre booked our table and when we went to the restaurant for our 7pm booking, the place was packed out which seems to show how popular it is. We were shown to our table and the first thing we noticed was the general hubbub of background chat from the...

Ate at Indi's last night for anniversary meal. As a vegetarian it is good to have some alternatives that are not just the meat meals but with vegetables. I had the onion bhaji to start which was crispy but not greasey. I had a lentil dish for my main which was very tasty. The food tasted fresh. The service was...

The contemporary styling remains and the service is very good. But these day the quality of the food is hit and miss. Fantastic popadoms but overcooked, slightly chewy chicken. Good wine selection but poor tasting post-mixed soft drinks. After our most recent visit we won't be back in a hurry. In our view it has become overpriced and there are...

Our first time at this very modern Indian restaurant. We were a group of three and the service was first class. We didn't have a table booked on a Friday evening and had to wait less than 10 minutes. The tandoori oven cooked chicken and the chicken shashlik was some of the best I have even eaten and the Nann...
