Description: Blenio Bistro is the first Brighton-based venture from award-winning restaurateurs Peter Bruschi and Paula Black, and this all-day bistro brings a breath of fresh air to the citys iconic Seven Dials neighbourhood. The all-white, light-filled restaurant is decorated with bright splashes of colour and artworks by local artists, and Blenios menu is filled with rustic European dishes with a French twist. Perfect for business breakfasts, lazy lunches, coffee-and-cake breaks and stylish evening meals, this hip eatery attracts a trendy local crowd and we love everything from the traditional Sunday roasts and signature moules mariniere to the selection of croissants, muffins and pastries for brunch.

For me, it has to be Masterchef material for me to give 5 stars. But this is as close as it gets. Lovely, well laid out, quiet, candlelit, subtle restaurant. No pretentiousness. Professional! Quiet music. Just right!! Great choice of food, limited wine menu...........but hey, it's ok. Gavi de Gavi very good. So if Peter and Paula want me to... More

We went with friends who use this restaurant reasonably frequently and it is our second visit. The menu has a good range and the wine list is reasonably extensive but, as someone, else says, it is all a little on the expensive side. The service was very quick and attentive and the food was very nice but there was quite... More

Food was fine but service not great. The first 3 wines we asked for, they did not have and at that point we had spent a while looking and they took our food order. As a result ended up with no wine when our starters came out. Also with all courses there was a fair wait between the first to... More

Nice restaurant, nice atmosphere, but too expensive in my opinion. Well, alhough the food is delicious it is not worth its big price. I think that Blenio just "seems" a great restaurant but it isn't. It is worth to give it a try especially in an occasion like Valentine's Day but be ready to pay more that what you will... More

We arrived late on a Saturday evening but we were fitted in and served promptly. We all enjoyed a very good meal friendly service and reasonable pricing. We would definitely return.

I've lived up on the Dials for about 3 years now and walked past Blenio many times without even knowing it existed. When we did notice it, it kept on being said that we would go- but somehow we never got round to it, however with the closure of Sam's of Sevendials and the Tin Drum we needed a new... More

We have visited this charming restaurant a number of times, and on Friday night we returned after a long absence to receive a welcome as warm as though we had been there last week. The ballotine of lamb was beautifully presented and a gem of a main course. Although the restaurant was busy with pre-Christmas parties, the service was attentive... More

So having lived on 7 dials for a few years, this was always on my list to visit. Last night we took the plunge and weren't disappointed. Its a deceptively large restaurant, with other diners not crammed in next to each other. It manages to combine a very cosy atmosphere with interesting decor. Gravelaxe salmon starter was fantastic, and the... More
