As usual, it was a quiet Tuesday evening in Brighton when we ate here and so the restaurant was quite quiet but the staff were welcoming and the main host was quite funny with his comments and remarks. They gave us a load of sample dish recipes when we sat down and you could either follow one of these recipes... More

No Longer called Genghis Khan's but still the same place. Friendly and helpful staff. A very good range of food to choose from. An excellent dining experience (but check how it work first).

I have been to this restaurant many times for many different occasions and I have loved it every time, defiantly one of my favourite restaurants ever. It is right in the town centre and when you walk in to me I'm instantly impressed with the decoration and the smell of the food cooking and the friendliness of the staff just... More

Went there on 23rd March 2013 - 16 of us went for my boyfriends 40th, we travelled down from Southend on Sea, Essex and it was well worth it. The owner Pete was very friendly, and one of the chiefs was very helpful, he gave me tips on what to select, Pete said that he was giving me the hardest... More

A fun and unique dining experience. The food is of reasonable quality, other than the fish which looks and smells a bit odd, Fish should not be stored next to the tofu as this is unpleasant for vegetarians. Another problem for veggies is that the food is all cooked on the same surface. The manager seems to have no clue... More

An interesting experience which everyone should try! Good fun picking all of the different ingredients for your dishes and having them BBQ'd in front of you. Limited cocktails to choose from. Would recommend sticking to the provided recipes as some of the dishes I created without reading the recipes ended up being a disaster. Met the owner who was really... More

We went to Gobi's in Brighton as a party of 14. The food was great for the price. You get what you pay for. I couldn't fault the food or the staff. They were very friendly, polite and helpful. As we were a large party we ordered our drinks direct from the bar and paid for them as we went... More

When we entered the place we really didnt know what to expect, We were taken to our table and was asked if we has ever been there before, we said no, the waitress explained everything to us, she gave us recipe cards, I seemed a little confused at first, but soon got into the swing of things. I thought it... More

I was apprehensive about Gobi after reading some of the reviews on here. However, I thought it was great. There were 7 of us ranging from 14 to 71 years of age. Everyone loved it. The chef and manager were very helpful and humerous. It was a different experience for us all but very enjoyable. Yes the meat and fish... More
