We ate at JK’s one evening whilst on a short break in Painswick. It was mid-week and unfortunately we were one of only three couples dining. I am sure that, had there been more people eating the atmosphere would have been more congenial. The chips were excellent and the proprietor/chef was friendly and passionate about her business.

My husband and I live locally and only found this place via Groupon; the food was lovely and the service so good we will definitely be back for more. It is a small restaurant but has a large choice of food on the menu, from French inspired dishes to Pan-Asian we were spoilt for choice.

My wife and I went for lunch on a Groupon deal . It was a horrid day so not so busy all the better for us . We had a starter and main . Both of which were delicious and good sized portion . Will go again and on a warm day it will be even better

Nice little place. Food and service was ok though plenty of room for improvement. Went as a group of 4 as we were staying in Painswick and our friends eat there often but not really my cup of tea to be honest.

This restaurant was SO good. The food was excellent and the service was perfect - not rushed and very friendly. And really good value for money too. Definitely worth another visit. We stayed in the B&B in the same building and the breakfast was excellent too!

Food is very good. The owners are polite, friendly and always have time for a chat. Menues change regularly and have special offers throughout the year.

We booked a table for a Saturday, it was my son's 6th birthday and we had a hectic day and I fancied being spoilt too.
