A warm welcome, an imaginative menu with truly scrumptious flavours and a relaxing ambience; all present at The Trouble House. Well worth a re-visit and somewhere to get excited about.

Following advice from Tripadviser, we ventured out from Tetbury for evening meal on Saturday.
My wife said we would never have stopped if the reviews had not been so good as it looked scruffy and the flower baskets needed watering!
But inside all was cheerful attentive staff, a great welcome and above all wonderful food! I had the rib of...

The Trouble House came highly recommended. Unfortunately, we found the menu limited and this was made worse by further menu items being unavailable. The food we had was nicely cooked and the service attentive, but both the main course and the desserts lacked imagination and the desserts in particular could have been presented with a bit more flair.

For a relaxed drink, lunch or dinner in a proper pub atmoshshere, a visit to The Trouble is a must. The owner’s friendliness and enthusiasm (chef & wife) is captured by the smiling staff and the food is absolutely top notch, the 18 Hour cooked pork shoulder is amazing!

Glass of wine, tap water, excellent one course meal then coffee. So good, nothing to comment about, except pumpkin and reblouchon tart was original and delicious. No whinges..staff are friendly, efficient and effective. Think I wil go back tomorrow for the mussels and lemon sole...or perhaps the soup and rib eye steak. If you prefer simpler rather than gourmet food,...

Live locally but other than sitting in the garden in the summer for an early evening drink had not eaten here. The food was good (not very, but there isn't that option above) but the service was not particularly friendly even when we discovered that half of our group of six had a different menu to the rest of us!...

Visited for Dinner with 2 friends on a tuesday night. Doesnt look very open when you drive by due to dark appearance but we knew it was and had booked. Apparently a pub style restaurant, but obvious that guests come for the dinner reputation.
Hostess was welcoming on arrival and efficiently served some arrival drinks to our party, along with...
