Excellent service and good fresh cooked, basic food (just what we wanted). The toilets are now spotless and certainly don't smell (see previous comment) so they have taken note of what has been said . Not cordon bleu but good honest food, where else does rice pudding or treacle sponge? Well done Mickeys

Today the 12th October 2012 was my 2nd visit to Mickeys Diner on Bluebell Hill. It is situated halfway between Maidstone and Kent's toilet towns, known as the Medway towns. The staff are pleasant enough, but I made the mistake of sitting near the toilets. The waitress did ask if I was alright there, I should have realised what she... More

Thought we would treat ourselves to a fry up one morning and decided to go to Mickey's for the first time. The staff have done an excellent job at decorating the restaurant and making it feel much nicer than the little chef. The staff were really friendly and very efficiant. The toilets weren't all that great though and had no... More

Having lived though the Little Chef era, it's a delight to visit a restaurant that offers excellent food, excellent service, moderate pricing and a smile in this day of profit above service. Mickey and his team have a lot to be proud of; we and a lot of other customers will call on him for a quick brekkie, a good... More

i couldnt dissagree more with the two star rating of sgamvale. Mickeys used to be a Little Chef that closed and was turned into a place that tries its best to give you a personal service (not always possible at busy times) but they are often busy which must say something as when it was Little Chef it was very... When will cafe owners realise that one rasher of bacon, one sausage and one egg does not constitute a full English. This was one of the worst breakfasts I have ever had. Apart from the above the plate was swimming in tinned tomato juice, copious baked beans, mushrooms and a fried crust. The tea was cold and the service slow.... More
