Staff very friendly, a good range of drinks available, didn't eat there but the food looked good. Very nice inside although a little on the small side, cozy!

Walked in was eyed up and down by locals constant swearing not a word was said to them by the bar lady. Disgusting wouldn't go again.
It's had problems, but they are trying to make a come back, good luck I'll give it a go once more, it might not go to the wall there are other pubs and bars that should go before this one.

On a wet Saturday lunchtime we visited The Globe and watched the Olympics on the TV while I had the most delicious Lamb Steaks with the best pan...

always call in here when in kendal. full of characters in a real local friendly pub. beers kind of expensive but it is the lakes.
I love the beer, the real ale selection is great. Had a couple of meals which were okay, but I was expecting better. The staff were. Nice but the place lacked abit of atmosphere, it was quiet when we visited. It was quite expensive but overall it was nice.
