Oh my - what a great place! I went on my own yesterday and was given a warm welcome and got seated within seconds. I went for the White and Wye Valley green asparagus for starter, Venison and wild mushroom Wellington main course and the Salted caramel fudge and shortbread filled chocolate cylinder for dessert. Everything was just perfect. The... More

Just finished main course of Stone Bass, which was fantastic. Not even received the dessert yet, but top marks awarded already!

not stiff, but very relaxed - and the food is really good. Smallest remark is that my rib eye steak was not perfectly hot when it arrived at our table. Otherwise all was perfect.

Off the beaten track, on the South bank, in walking distance of Blackfriar Bridge/station, this neighbourhood style restaurant caters principally to locals. Good service, nice food (nothing super fancy, just good, but with a nice level of sophistication). Nice brasserie type of relaxed atmosphere/noise level. We believed good value for money (and not that expensive).

This was our first visit to the Laughing Gravy. Great name to start off with, but it was hard to fault once we got there. The staff were young and friendly, the wine was fantastic, the food delicious and the atmosphere is fine for a slightly special evening but still informal and not at all stiff. It's also well located... More

We had a spectacular meal at The Laughing Gravy. The food was superb and the service was fantastic. I was a little worried taking my friend out who is a Restauranteur, never an easy challenge! She had an amazing time and is taking the duck & rabbit scotch eggs idea back to her restaurant to put on their menu! Thank... More

We live relatively close by so walk to laughing gravy often on the off chance rather than booking. We have been for both lunch, dinner and sunday roast. Almost always it is exceptional and i have one of the most delicious things i have ever had. It is pretty inside for a pub, modern farrow and ball grey with white... More

This was my second time here and it was equally as wonderful. The cider marinated lamb is perfect - definitely the stand out dish! Fantastic atmosphere, and virtually a full house, even on a weekday. Staff were lovely too! I can't wait to go back. One of my all time favourite restaurants.. just wish it was a bit closer to... More
