Description: Fifteen London restaurant, just off the City Road, is owned by the Jamie Oliver Foundation and was made famous by the 2002 tv documentary series featuring Jamie Oliver and his original team of fifteen young chefs from troubled backgrounds. Right from the start, Fifteen London has been an excellent restaurant, but it has now come of age beautifully and is a legend in its own right. Set in a handsome old building near Old Street, Fifteen London Restaurant enjoys a downstairs dining room thats a bright, urban space with retro styling and an open kitchen. The menu features top quality seasonal produce in modern Mediterranean dishes with an Italian slant. The daily-changing menus include dishes like freshly-picked Devonshire crab on toasted sourdough with lentils di Castelluccio and brown crab meat dressing; Fifteens Sicilian fishermans stew; and buttermilk and vanilla panna cotta with spiced roasted plums and cinnamon shortbread. Fifteen London has a laid-back vibe and excellent wine list, integral elements in one of Londons premiere dining experiences.

Went here one Saturday night with two girlfriends who were visiting London as I thought it would be a nice thing to try and also as its near to Old Street for some good bars later in the evening. The service was impeccable as it always is at any of Jamie's restaurants (Jamie's Italians) and the restaurant itself had a... More

Fifteen is one of those restaurants where you do not understand half the menu, but no matter what you order you cannot go wrong. All the dishes are served Tapas style to promote sharing so it's great to come here with a close group of friends! We tried the lemon sole, crab, beef bun, bocca di lupa and everything was... More

We were nearby at Moorfields Eye Hospital, and decided to try Fifteen as I'm a big fan of Jamie's recipes. The food is delivered on individual plates and you are encouraged to share. Like tapas with a twist. We loved the food, especially the asparagus which was divine. The only downside to eating in this manner is that the dishes... More

Visited Fifteen in a group of four. We had booked about 2 weeks prior, and the staff were more than happy to put back our reservation by a half hour when we needed some more time! Waitstaff were all very friendly and knowledgeable, without being in the slightest bit pretentious or snobby. We sat in a cosy and fairly quiet... More

I have been at Fifteen with a friend at the beginning of May. Since we were early we were seated in the bar area where we could enjoy a freshly prepared cocktail (I had the cucumber while my friend had some chili margarita). When our table was ready we were moved there and were seated by an extremely kind and... More

Our previous visit was a year ago and we had a fantastic 3 course lunch so we were expecting the same this time - how wrong we were. The menu was very disappointing and we were not expecting the small plate concept (tapas). The service was not great either...my fiancée felt it was slightly condescending and not overly friendly. It... More

Generous portions, great service, fantastic wine list. Really enjoyed my time at Fifteen, but veggie options were quite limited (as always).

Yes this is an expensive restaurant and it definitely makes food to a very high standard but it is not going to be Michelin star quality no matter how much you expect it to be...it will however give you lovely, freshly prepared taste experiences that you wouldn't eat on a day to day basis and it also donates all profits... I decided to put this review up, although my last visit to this restaurant was approximately 1 year ago and by saying last visit I also mean I wouldn't be going again. I can see that they have had a bit of a re-launch over at Fifteen with new Executive Chef? Why? Well clearly because of the decline in quality... More
