Description: Voted Morning Advertiser Pub Industry's Awards - 12th best Pub in the UK 2004, you won't need a pub guide to tell you this is one of the best pubs in Chelsea - Just ask the locals! Unwind after work or after a busy day of shopping in Kings Road with some of the finest food you could find in a London pub, or just a glass of beer or champagne on the sofa to recharge your batteries. The Builders Arms can be found full of local residents most nights of the week, arriving early for a gossip before they sit down to eat. The pub was recently redecorated and it now has a livelier, more stylish decor with banquettes, unusual artwork and the most colourful bookcases.

A monster sized full English was excellent value on a Saturday late morning. Service was very good, friendly and prompt and what was served was very tasty. The pub may not have that much space, but it does have an impressive array of drinking options for those of us so fussy that we won't bother if our favourites are not... More

Been visiting this pub for a few years now and it has never disappointed. It's only 'problem' is that it gets very busy. The food is really good but the array of drinks is where this place really excels. Forget the rest of the pubs that serve up the normal, bland brands of beer, The Builders offers a great choice... My husband & I ate here on Sunday 7th April - the date is worthy of note as it was so warm we were able to sit outside. It is a really great pub in a quiet location. We both had the roast chicken with side orders of creamed leeks and cauliflower cheese to share. It was all excellent !... More

This delightful neighborhood pub is extremely popular, and rightfully so. The menu changes frequently, and offers nicely thought-out and prepared dishes that are not your standard pub fare (which plagues many pubs around the London area). There is a nice dining area on the second floor to compliment the tables on the pub floor -- but a caution, you will... More

A fabulous English pub hidden away in the heart of Kensington offering great food and atmosphere. The food came quickly and there was a great choice on the menu. In addition, it offers a wide selection of beers and wines. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Over priced, limited menu and rude staff make for a memorable experience. If you want to really appreciate your local then head to The Builders Arms! Fortunately, the afternoon was saved by the company we were keeping but otherwise I would steer clear of this one.

I took a couple friends to this pub on a Sunday night as had heard good things about it. The pub itself is really nice and although I didn't eat there, the food looked good. What absolutely ruined it for me was the obnoxious bar staff - particularly the Manager. Right from the get-go the bartenders were disinterested and unfriendly... More

I have eaten in the Builders quite often over the last 10 years and it's always been good. Not any more. My husband and I went after a carol service last month. We ordered and the food arrived within about a minute - never a good sign. Everything was overcooked and tasted as if it had been kept warm for... More
