Have been here twice now and have really enjoyed our food and drink. Lovely walking around the gardens afterwards and they over look Kensington.
Came here for a work outing, the food was tasty but when the starter came we all did think that the portions were small. There is a heated balcony area which is nice, but the garden area was closed on the day we went. Overall I would say the food was tasty, but the food and drink is very pricey.
We had a party of 11 at Babylon yesterday and were very fortunate to be given access to the private dining room. The service was exceptional, very attentive and well timed so you did not feel rushed at all. Drinks in reception were excellent, along with the service. The general dining room is beautifully finished however the private dining room... More
I ate at the Babylon restaurant twice in October, once on a Saturday and the other time on a Tuesday. On the first occasion we sat outside on the terrace with friends for drinks before going inside for lunch. There are views over London but the day was quite dull and misty, so not the best. On our Tuesday visit,... More
Had the best Sunday lunch .Arrived early enough to visit the gardens one floor below the restaurant which are pretty amazing ,look out for the flamingos .The weather was dry but cold so our young waiter told us to keep our coats on if we wanted to sit on the terrace and have a drink which we did ,I had... Visited with friends for lunch this week on a perfect Autumn day. Glorious sunshine and stunning views over the roof tops of London. We all had the very reasonable set two or three course option which included complementary glass of fiz. Delicious pork cheek followed in my case by sea bass. Waiter recommended dry Tokai (Hungarian) white wine which we... More
Met my daughter for dinner and drinks, and was not disappointed. The bar terrace has overhead heat, so its comfortable outside. Also lap blankets were provided. Delicious starters and excellent mains. The Scottish beef was extra good. Very attentive service and a expensive but complete wine list. A place for that special occasion.
Came down to London for the weekend from Scotland and was excited to try Babylon... When we arrived we soon realised that the restaurant was all about the hype. The food is absolutely not worth the price and is below average. I would save your money and go elsewhere as this was the biggest disappointment of our trip.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Our menus change regularly to ensure that only the freshest, seasonal ingredients are used, however I’m sorry that you found the food disappointing during your visit. I do hope you’ll reconsider visiting Babylon again in the future. Kind Regards, Sam Wilson More
Went for a meal on Friday. Food was amazing. Service was great. Apple vodka mojito was lush. Sat on terrace watching fireworks under the heaters before the meal. Fab night. Really lovely.
We visited at lunchtime and had the set menu, which was good but with a limited number of choices, however each dish was delicious. The starters, on the day we visited, were soup, fish or goats cheese salad and fish, meat or risotto for the main course options. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was not very busy... More
