This place is fun. You get very good and cheap Chinese food. If you pass by do not miss this small gem ...
We always get our takeaways from here as it is consistently good value and is always full of Chinese people eating there (which is a good sign!). I am not especially fussy but my wife is and she will only eat Chinese from here in the neighbourhood.
We went here one night in the beginning of October, husband, daughter 9 and I. We did not have reservations, and I think we were lucky because 15 minutes after we arrived, it was full. By the time we left, there was a queue outside. We had 1/2 roast duck with pancakes, duck with orange sauce and scallops with fried... More
I've been going to this small Chinese restaurant for almost 20 years, every time I visit London. The food are always good, no surprises. Steamed scallop with shell and soy sauce or long neck clam steamed with glass noodles are delicious. So as their roasted ducks. THE BEST NOT TO BE MISSED IS MAIN LOBSTER with crispy noodles fried with... More
We went here for a business dinner and choose our favourites squid with chilli and squid Paper wrapped prawns with coriander Quarter duck and pancakes. Crispy chilli beef and Singapore noodles But you could have salmon head soup. Jelly fish cuttle fish quality of the food is excellent. Yes the surroundings aren't plush but the food is fantastic
For a very reasonable £11 you get soup, a main course and a coke without all the histrionics of the bigger but far more inferior Chinese restaurants further down Queensway. Small is better!
We had sweet and sour chicken and garlic and chilli prawns. Deep fried icecream and banana fritters. The food was really lovely. Service is very fast and friendly. I would say it's more casual dinning than anything fancy. No real atmosphere in the restraunt but it's fine just for stopping in after a busy day in London.
We went there for the first time after dining at Gold Mine and other restaurants within the vicinity. The food is good and offer an alternative to the other more crowded restaurants. The roast duck is as good as the neighbors. There are fewer tables and one may have to wait during the popular timing but no different than elsewhere.... More
Whenever in London, I pay a visit to this small restaurant. Always satisfied by the taste of the food and the quality of service. This time, in June 2013 after 6 month, I found the restaurant slightly redecorated, same staff and real good service. The shrimps soup was remarkable as it was on previous visit. Same appreciation for shrimps with... More
I've been a regular for many years and the quality of food has improved a lot recently. I come here for the barbeque roast meats, steamed dover sole and the lobster noodles - All of which i'd recommend! Decor isn't great, so I wouldn't suggest you come here for a romantic date. Nice place to meet up with friends or... More
