Diving into here on a wet and miserable day the staff were friendly and efficient and made us and our dog feel welcome. As a nice touch they even have towels to dry your dog down. The food and drinks were very nice and we enjoyed it so much we went back again.

This is the sort of place thas gives Britain its good name. It must be one of very few places that make their own ice cream from milk from their own farm and then produce milk shakes or ice cream floats flavoured by all the ice creams they sell.

Superb homemade ice cream, especially the Lavender, milkshakes straight from the heart, good ingredients, and happy quirky unique décor - somewhere that feels 1950s but with a modern twist. All cafes should have the great attitude and service friendly approach as these guys do. Needs to be promoted better and expanded around the country in my opinion!

My daughter and I took our dog in here while visiting Whitby on a very cold day. The service was good, and dogs were very welcome, even a basket of dog-towels by the door!! Would definitely go back.
