A French restaurant to savour! Operating on two levels, it nevertheless felt like one busy establishment with ‘super-fit’ waitresses ‘floating’ effortlessly between tables and floors. A wide variation of fish and meat courses and with the odd vegetarian selection, perfectly cooked and presented offers a choice for the most discerning diner.

We liked the ambience of the restaurant and the efficiency of the staff. The food was also good. We had a wobbly table which was corrected very quickly. Some things had run out but we didn't get to hear that until we had chosen but I did hear the waitress correcting that with another table of people later.

We first visited this genuine French Bistro in Oxford in May and again June 2011 and loved it. Prompt service, good value for money, quite atmospheric. Basic bistro but well done. Compares very well with al andaluz nearby, far more relaxed atmosphere.

I would never have found this restaurant without tripadvisor but I am so glad I did. I have been here several times and it is consistently good.The menu is always well thought out, the food tasty and the portions good. This really is good value for money - especially at lunchtime. Book a table - it is very popular!

One of the tests of a french bistro is to order the standard steak fritte. Well they did it with no problems. As ordered medium rare, sometimes a risky choice in the UK where they prefer their meat "cooked". The place is noisy and busy so not for a romantic dinner for two.
