Excellent restaurant in every respect; staff, ambiance, food and drink. Our favourite eating experience. Would definitely recommend and do.
Visited this restaurant a few years ago and knew it was good, it was a pleasure to visit again this weekend. My husband had pizza and said it was the best he had ever tasted. In all the food was all excellent, loved the profiterols! The service was very good even though they were very busy. Would recommend as it... More
Three ladies visited this restaurent early one Monday evening, so the restaurant was quiet, though it filled up later in the evening. Our waiter was wonderful, helpful friendly polite all without being too in your face. The food was great, portion sizes just right and everything hot and well presented. We were not pressured into leaving when we had finished,... More
I am delighted to say that the vegetable lasagne I had was probably the best I have eaten anywhere.... my partner had mushroom and gorgonzola risotto. I have never been all that keen on italian food, but I have to say that my confidence has now been lovingly restored by this restaurant in Sheffield. Now to the best bit.... Tirimisu,... More
Have eaten here a few times and always come away very happy: the menu I offers a decent spread of Italian options at a reasonable price and the atmosphere is surprisingly cosy, given the fairly busy west street location. Service has always been prompt and friendly too - definitely worth a look if you're after an independent Italian.
Noisy, busy but welcoming on a Saturday night. Interesting mix of guests - some very much the worse for drink but didn't cause a problem. However, the calzone's were very small and the vegetables provided with a main course were barely a garnish. The main meals were the size of a good starter. It was a shame as the food... More
Excellent and tasty food with very good service. Dined with four hungry students who left replete and happy. Need I say more?
Décor is very dated in this place and it is small the tables are quite close together. The food was very average we shared a garlic bread and the calamari ( frozen battered rings, not fresh) and had seafood pasta and meatballs for the main it was not unpleasant but i have had much better in Sheffield for the same... Dont usually leave reviews, but had to on this occassion. Went there for the first time tonight, for my sisters birthday. The food was absolutely beautiful! BBQ ribs were in the best sauce I've ever tasted. And the calzone, was the best I ever had. So glad I tried it out. Small place, big food. Get yourself in peeps!
