My Serrano ham croquetas arrived slightly well done as did the triple cooked chips with the main, whilst the corn fed chicken lacked taste. My colleague had the pan fried cod which also lacked taste as did the peanut parfait dessert. The staff were excellent though.

Great restaurant, with very delicate and unique tastes. The atmosphere is so nice and relax. The service is great and the personnel comes up with great suggestions with regard to the wine choices that go well with every dish. I would certainly go again there.

The chef here is Chris Staines who has held Michelin stars at other establishments in London, although here he is apparently going for a more casual approach. It’s fairly new, having been opened about three months, and was consequently quite smart and tidy with a contemporary feel. Staff were all friendly and very helpful. The complimentary bread was a Rice... More

Full marks for this restaurant which is a great addition to the choice in Bath. We were recommended by a friend, and thanks to that we had a great experience. The set menu was good, but we decided to treat ourselves to the a la carte menu. The courses were tremendously tasty, with excellent combinations of taste and texture. This... More

The best Sunday lunch I've ever had! We had the 2 course set menu, which included roast beef. Every single part of it was delicious. Superb friendly service too! Very highly recommended. Pippa

I came here with my sons and we had a superb meal. Each choosing different plates from a varied menu. I loved the Wye asparagus and poached egg, the chicken was perfect and the banana dessert sublime. The wine list was excellent, service efficient and I can highly recommend this place. It has had excellent reviews from well-known critics and... More

Allium was recommended by local friends as having great food. We rocked up for a late Sunday lunch - we were pretty alone in the dining room to start (it was 4pm!) but the room was lively by the time we left at around 7.30. I thoroughly enjoyed a superb beetroot and goats' cheese salad and followed up with a... More

We came here for high tea while in Bath for the day and sat out on the patio on a lovely sunny day. The sandwiches were good with plenty of selection for the price. The scones and clotted cream were lovely. And the tea itself was flavorful and well presented. I've taken other high teas and this one seemed a... More

We arrived early and were able to take advantage of the fixed price menu. By 7:30 the restaurant was full - definitely worth making reservations. Artfully presented yet affordable food. Tasty! Good service although slow to get our bill as the restaurant filled up.
