Description: The Bath Priory restaurant in Bath has held a Michelin star since October 2012. Found within the Bath Priory Hotel, a Georgian mansion of honey-coloured stone, it’s a great place when you want sophisticated food in an elegant setting. Executive Chef Sam Moody, creates stellar dishes with a strong emphasis on kitchen garden ingredients with an inventive use of traditional herbs and flowers. Where possible, all meat is locally sourced and the menu sticks closely to what’s in season. "

Visited for our wedding anniversary and had lunch on our way to spending the weekend in Bath. Had the three set menu which we found to be excellent value. Food was incredible and service amazing. Would definetly visit again if visiting Bath. The setting is beautiful as the priory is set in stunning grounds.

A lot of pomp and circumstance, but a terrific meal with good service and nice food. It has one michelin star (recent) and has the service to match. It starts with a small appetiser on the outdoor deck (fantastic) with a drink, and then you move inside for your lunch. We had a 3 course lunch for about 35 pounds... More

For my partners birthday i arranged fr us to have dinner at The Bath Priory Hotel. We selected the 10 course surprise meal and i think that the real surprise was the fact that it took nearly 3 hours to work our way through it due to the 17 min course intervals, for relatively nothing special and for a huge... We went for a light business lunch, what value for money! Absolutely superb! Sam and his staff really know how to put on the wow factor, I have told everyone I know to get to the priory for the set menu, I just can't see how you can beat that quality! Will definitely be going back!

I enjoyed my quick lunch trip to the priory. I have dined before for dinner and enjoyed it then. But by day the restaurant and the grounds seem to come to life. I had the fantastic value £25 lunch menu which I thouroughly enjoyed, the fish was ever so slightly under cooked. However the peanut Parfait with dark chocolate ice... More

We travelled 250 miles for a birthday meal at this place. Bath is a fantastic place to spend the weekend, and there's loads more to do than expected. The food at this restaurant is second to none, the service exceptionally attentive without being intrusive. The price means it needs to be a special occasion for us to spend this Kim... More

Ok so it's expensive (we were lucky to have been given a gift voucher for Sunday lunch) but the food at the Priory is simply sumptuous. Everything we had was absolutely full of flavour, beautifully cooked and lovingly presented. Service was attentive but discreet, friendly and professional. We will save up to go here again as an occasional treat.

We had dinner with friends. Building/setting is beautiful and service very attentive. However as a vegetarian I was a little disappointed both by the lack of choice and what actually arrived on my plate. It tasted super-salty and I felt short-changed paying such high prices for food that didn't taste great. It was sadly very average and felt uninspired and... More
