Booked in at this hotel (Ryokan) as working in the area. Very often so called Indian restaurants in a hotel are bland interpretations of a "proper" Indian restaurant. Happy to say this is not the case here. Excellent food, great service, pleasant staff. Very happy to recommend and will stay here again.

Had to wait a few minutes before being acknowledged, which annoyed me, a simple " just a second and we'll be with you" would have helped. Have visited this restaurant before and both times the food and service have been superb. Fresh tasty food and reasonable price. We cook a lot of Indian food and all our meals were delicious. The staff were attentive and offered an opinion. . Would go again and would highly recommend it.
