There are lots of familys who go here and theres a playground 5 mins away, so I recommend it if you have kids. Saying that, we didnt leave a tip as the service was really not good. I waited 20 mins for a drink even though there was only one couple in front of me, the bar staff just wandered... More

Waiting times at the bar for a drink are outragous. Food average, but smaller portions than they used to be, and not as well cooked or presented. Prices are far too high for what you get. Shame. Remember when it first opened, was very pleasantly surprised. Now, not a patch on what it used to be.

We have been regular customers to the pub since it opened and this is the first time we have felt the need to complain but understand it recently has new management. Queuing to order drinks & food for 20 mins, waited for 50 mins for food, table not cleared after 40 mins so did it ourselves told to order desserts... More

I love my food and not one for sending food back but on this occasion didn't like what I had ordered and asked for something else.. after 10 minutes was then told they have a no exchange policy..! My partner had eaten his Meal so was annoyed that I had been sitting waiting for nothing.. I had no issues paying... More

Not bad for what you pay. I have used this pub/restaurant on quite a few occassions now if we are in the area and in need of a quick bite to eat. Food is just above average but service has always been second to none. Great value for money and if your having a beer that's always been to a... More

The service is good even at their busiest times. Also if you what something light to each their menu covers this. Go for the larger meals again excellent value. Also despite the other reviews the meals we choose were very tasty.

I visited today with my family and decided against the traditional Sunday lunch as it was poor a couple of weeks ago but thought we'd give it another chance. I had fish and chips. I left most of my meal; the chips were quite soggy and the fish was watery and had absolutely no taste. Granted, it was described as... More

As we had friends visiting we was really looking forward to a pub lunch and excited to try the Unicorn. However we left feeling ripped off, the Lasagne tasted like it came out of a microwave meal container which was left after the first bite and the Cajun chicken had no flavour. In fact the only meals that was ok... More

Revisited the Unicorn to try out their new menu. It's basically a slightly modified version of their old menu. They can change the menu, but obviously cannot change the way it is cooked. I had a burger, which was served only slightly warm. My wife had enchiladas which were baked to within an an inch of their life and served... More
