First visit. Parking is really simple which is great. Decor good. Found the food very tasty, well presented and most enjoyable. It is a bit more expensive than most Indian restaurants, but I think it is worth the extra

There is an exclusive feel to this restaurant - perhaps the riff-raff are kept away by the high prices!! Or perhaps it's the proximity to Bray village. Either way, it's a great place for a special occasion. A group of 6 of us went last night - it was £35/head with no wine, 3 people not drinking alcohol and only...

We passed this restaurant early on Saturday night and were very lucky to get a table as it was fully booked for the rest of the evening. Living in Bristol we knew nothing of the reputation of this restaurant and were not expecting the experience that we had. Firstly the staff were really friendly and helpful the food was truly...

The Emperor of India are so consistent in the quality of their food, we don't consider going anywhere else for Indian style food. The service is great and the owner is very good at remembering you which makes you feel very welcome.
Ordered lamb chops and they were cooked to perfection and very well seasoned. Very juicy, tasty and full of authentic flavours. Prices here are very good, very reasonably priced. I have gone to other top restaurants, paid a lot more and hadn't had as good food as I had got here. I highly recommend coming here. Ranjit Mander
Expensive - Yes, but the food is something to behold and we have yet to find a comparable Indian Restaurant havgin the quality of taste that this one has. Ideal for special occasions, which is what we tend to save it for. Has both Cobra and Kingfisher on Draft, which is a bonus too. Always a welcoming face to greet...

Saturday 16th Feb, Table x 4.
Papadum's and chutney's are excellent.
Lamb chop starters are tender and flavoursome, but expensive. (£16.50 for 6)
Shish Kebab, not the best that I have had.
Onion Bhaji's, smallish in size, crispy outside and good.
Samosa, small but OK.
Chicken Chili Fry is a nice dish, watch the green chili in it, they are...

Always good. Excellent food and usually good service. Have been over 20 times and never disappointed. Only negative is that staff change frequently and that you need a larger table to sample all the dishes.
As well as the best lamb chops (melt in your mouth) in town, this restaurant always serves good quality food. The staff are polite, friendly and welcoming. It isn't the cheapest in town but well worth the money in my opinion.
