Have visited a number of times and been impressed with the view and really enjoyed having a drink in a nice relaxed atmosphere. The food however has not impressed me so I was dubious but going for a fathers day meal but decided to give it another go. Food on this visit was really good and the bill of £90... More

Visited the restaurant today for Father's Day with my two children and fiance. Good points were that the view was excellent and adds an extra dimension to the visit. Our waitress was excellent - very attentive and helpful and ensured our needs were met throughout. Bad points - the manager who greeted us on arrival made it his mission to... More

The views are amazing, but it's a real shame that the service lets the place down. I was stunned by how far you could see from this very high building - it is breathtaking. However, I wouldn't rush back due to the waiter being really unhelpful and quite frankly a little snobby. Not a nice feeling when you are out... More

Good view and food. Loved the seafood and lamb. Lobster was a little small but delicious. Desserts was fantastic and they had good wines for the value. Recommend the place

I'm really sorry to have to do this but after a very disappointing visit I wanted to vent my opinions. A party of 9 of phoned ahead and all was fine, table was ready for us and our waitress Claire was lovely, really attentive and tried to make up for the problems. Firstly the fire alarm was being tested, we... More

The waitress insisted on seating my business colleague and I elsewhere even though I had booked a week earlier and had asked specifically for a seat by the window overlooking the sea. The window seats remained vacant throughout the evening. However, a second waitress was very friendly and helpful during the meal. Unfortunately, the food was distinctly average - I... More

We booked the meal for a special occasion and it was well worth the effort expended in reserving a place for the evening. Be aware that Grape and Olive's bookings are managed by a national booking agent that appears to manage many restaurants, so it is probably best to email with specific details of your booking, specifying that you want... The view is really what you visit for. The restaurant is very pleasant and comfortable, but often the service is very slow. And often the food is not that great. 5 of us went a few months ago and 2 meals were a bit overcooked. But we had to wait a very long time. They seem to have a great... More

The Grape and Olive is often our choice if we want a relaxed drink with stunning views. Yes prices are a little high for what you get and the menu certainly needs more choice. However frequently we spend a happy hour working out all that we can see from miles around which must be worth something extra.

waited to be seated for ages and had to get the attention of the waiter one we arrived on the top floor. we loved the experience of going up the tower, nice glass of wine and a look around was followed by quite a good starter (scallops) but then the main course was awful. i ordered steak as i thought...
