To be honest, when choosing this restaurant it was a bit of a last resort - we made a very last minute decision to have dinner in the Cathedral Quarter in Belfast on a Saturday evening with no booking and were very lucky to get a table here! That is not to say however that it wasn't great! I had... More

The only thing wrong with our visit, was that we only had our lunchbreak to enjoy it! Working in Belfast City Centre, you are overwhelmed for choice but not so overwhelmed for quality choice! If that's what you want, then this is where you are going to get it! My partner choose the Hill St Beef Burger & Fat Chips... More

Dined here on Friday evening, been a couple of times before but will not be back. Two of our party ordered chicken breast which had to be sent back as it was pink in the middle and it was the same again when it returned. Another one of our party ordered the medium/well rump steak which was very tough and... More

Absolutely loved this place. We went there after a few drinks at the Duke and it was perfect for an after dinner meal. A little expensive but very good food and a lively fun atmosphere. Perfect for a more sophisticated scene in Belfast.

Had a beautiful 2 course Sunday Lunch today. Goats cheese and beetroot starter, followed by traditional Roast Pork Roast with all the trimmings, including some delicious home made apple sauce. All for £12.95. Definitely worth a visit.

A group of 11 adults went for a meal here last night-we were waiting on our starters for an hour and a half. When our mains finally arrived (after another lengthy wait-we even stacked up our own starter dishes as a hint that we were done so they would clear our table) all steaks were cold-cold enough to be sliced... Thank you very much for leaving a review, we are sorry you didn't feel our service and food was to your standards. One point that was raised with your party when booking the table at 8pm on Saturday evening, we did state their may be a wait on the food. Between 7 & 9pm on Saturday evenings our restaurant would... I eat here with my partner on 31st March, it has a lovely warm atmosphere and the service was very attentive, food was great and represented excellent value for money, we will definitely be back, only suggestion is to turn up the heating slightly as it was a bit chilly, but this was mostly due to the freezing weather outside,... Food brilliant - constrained menu executed with excellence. Ethos of no microwaves, freshly prepared food, in house tapenade etc., gastronomy in a bistro.

I have been a regular customer for many years and have always found the service and food to be excellent. I have however been waiting for the vegetarian crumble to be taken off the menu so that I can return. It was really disappointing and I felt that it was a quite a chore to get through it. Perhaps serve... More

We dined here recently. The service was very good. We thought it was quite noisy and difficult to hear our dining partners conversation. The bread and tapenade were delicious, as were the various starters. I ordered the rump steak, which although was cooked to perfection, lacked something... It was dry. The sauce served with it was a butternut squash sauce... More
