Could not fault the meal or the service up until the last moment. Food and drink very very good. Very accommodating - we presumed with the Christmas menu on the internet that going on a Saturday night in December this is what you would get. Although it wasn't openly on offer that night we were still offered it upon asking.... More
So disappointed yet again by the service here. Just awful. No acknowledgement when we entered. Found a seat then ignored for at least fifteen minutes. One of the busiest days of the year - Xmas lights switching on - so why wouldn't they employ extra staff??? I don't get it! Staff SEEM busy clattering and rushing around but not doing... More
Sunday lunch cost £13.95p for two courses fairly enjoyable portions were small surprisingly no fish options service average would not rush back.
Didn't feel up to a full meal today, so went to Brodies for their Sunday Brunch menu. I was not disappointed, Delicious scrambled eggs on toast with my request for bacon plus a pot of tea that gave me 3 large cups full. The restaurant was warm and cosy and the staff their usual friendly selves. Always a pleasure to... More
We had lunch here on Tuesday and could not fault it. A real find, great value, lovely food and pleasant, happy service in designer environment. Will be back for sure.
This is the 2nd time we've been in Brodies and I think it was better this time around, not that it was bad the 1st time. Again we had the Early Doors menu and while there's not a great selection in this menu, it was perfectly adequate for us. I had the Mushrooms an then the Salmon & my Wife... More
Was introduced to Brodies by a friend. We had Afternoon Tea. Best I've ever had, and was so impressed I arranged to go again, with another friend and our Mum's. The place itself is comforable and relaxing, and the food and the service top class. Don't wait for a special day, make any day special for the ones you love.... More
Nice friendly restaurant, nice surroundings, lovely food, good wine. What more can you ask for? Perhaps a better selection of local beers?
Tucked away from the centre of Moffat this cafe/restaurant is quite different from other Moffat eateries. We only had a sandwich at lunchtime which was well presented and tasty. Other people appeared to be enjoying cooked meals. Well worth a visit.
