This is our local coffee place and my favorite breakfast spot. Full breakfast involves fresh good quality ingredients, not the cheap stuff most places give you. The Eggs Benedict (with bacon of course) is the best I've ever had. They should bottle their holandaise sauce and sell it. It takes loads of will power not to lick my plate after.... More

Went there with my girlfriend for a Sunday brunch. The atmosphere is nice and we loved the decorations. It'a cute small place! The food also seemed nice, but unfortunately it was a bit inconsistent: 1) I ordered the "Eggs benedict" (poached eggs with bacon, english muffin and hollandaise sauce) and it was absolutely delicious. Very fresh and tasteful! I would... More

I have sought out this cafe on multiple occasions. Despite living the other side of town it is 'the' place to get breakfast. Friendly proprietor, cakes being baked in front of you, and freshly prepared food to order. I have never been disappointed on any visit. Such cafes are a rarity these days, enjoy.

Nice cosy cafe, just off the main road. Interesting menu and everything I've had has always been very tasty, and good value. Recommended.

After reading a review from a fellow guest at our hotel, we decided to try it. The staff member was friendly and welcoming, the pastry I had was yum, and the guy warmed it up for us which made it even better. The breakfast was made to order, really nice, homecooked food. This place I'd say was definately value for... More

I found this cafe in Leith Walk on a wet November day following a recommendation. The windows totally covered in condensation and a faded menu in the window. First impression was a cabinet full of food that looked homemade and a good smell. Had a lovely filled baguette and soup and a cup of coffee. All was extremely tasty, the... More

Great tasty food... friendly staff, the only downside was that the glasses and cutlery could have looked a bit cleaner.

I have been a few times now to this cozy cafe and really enjoy the feel of the place. The staff were welcoming but a little slow to come and take our food order. The food on every visit has been delicious but has taken a rather long time to reach the table. The staff were very apologetic about this... More
