Food is excellent and I love that they have the old bus benches for seating! Place is so lovely and they really know how to make fantastic french toast!

Tony makes you feel very welcome in his cafe. The food is fresh and delicious. Great soups . Worth stopping in for the feel good factor even if you're not hungry.

This place is very quickly becoming a family favourite and rightly so. My husband and I, having a few days with no kids, booked a table for a Friday evening. A warm welcome from the owner and drinks in hand we read over the menu and made our choices. After some very tasty starters we both went for the steaks... More

Wee sis and I wandered down for a good Sunday brunch. Both had the full breakfast. It was as she puts it "freakin awesomeness". Eggs to die for. Can't wait to try for dinner.

Difficult to find if you don't know where it is, but worth the hunt. Never had dinner here, but the lunch sandwiches are always excellent. Nip in sometimes for a takeaway coffee which is always decent. Highly recommended.

Come here fairly regularly and I always really enjoy the food, atmosphere and friendly staff. This place used to be at number one of the list in Glasgow and it seems to have suffered from not as many people posting reviews. There is no reason for it to have slipped down in the ratings - they are still doing everything... More

Went with some friends looking for a greasy spoon to help out our hangovers and we came across this place (by the way, this place is not a greasy spoon) and the food hit the spot. Very good food and interesting decor with nice little touches to enhance their theme. The guy that served us was friendly with a bit of... More

Horse McDonald's post Barrowands brunch provided the cafe with an unexpectedly large group which was accommodated with good grace and good service. Management very kindly and politely asked other diners to move so that the large group could be served altogether. All meals were fresh cooked and served to the usual high standard. A brilliant brunch for a true superstar... More

I thank my partner for this wee treat at the weekend. He stumbled across this a few weeks ago and had been raving about it ever since. I was dying to check this out so we had a few errnds to run in Candleriggs and decided we would have some brunch there and I am so glad we did. What... More

I have walked past this cafe many times over the last 15 years but never ventured in. I had read the good reviews and trying to improve my credibility with my teenage son we popped in on a Sunday afternoon The atmosphere is totally genuine and reminds me of cafes in Amsterdam, Berlin and France. A hundred miles away from... More
