My husband & I chose to dine here on Sat night, following looking at the reviews on trip advisor. We booked well in advance, which I would recommend as there was not an empty table. Also for booking on line we were given a complimentary glass of Presecco. From the start to the end of the meal, neither of us... More

An Italian experience all the way; good food, relaxed service and a cosy atmosphere to feel at home in. I'll visit again.

Has to be one of the best Italian restaurants in the city. Terrific food, good value for money and first class service every time I have been. On on our last visit I queried whether my main course was exactly what I ordered and the head waiter himself came over to explain the dish and check that I was satisfied... More

We've eaten here twice, two years apart, and both times have found it a really good place for a relatively simple (ie Italian food as it should be) meal. Friendly. This time I paid the bill without checking it and found it was rather wrong next day when I did look. I emailed the restaurant and they offered to to... More

A real flavour of Italy and we have been regular customers since it opened in the early 1970's. The food is excellent and the staff are very knowledgeable of the food on the menu

I've been many times since my last review but have to review it again. Fantastic, lovely food, nice Italian feel. I've eaten a la carte and the winter menu, both brilliant. The winter menu is brilliant value (£50 for 3 courses + coffee for 2 people). We have had this menu often before going to a gig, it's hard to... More

Everything made from fresh, service excellent. Best Italian meal I've had in Glasgow!! We went because we were recommended by friends and we weren't disappointed, everybody I know who had eaten here has really enjoyed it.

Had a meal here in the early part of January, had a half portion of seafood pasta to start which was very good, my partner had the bruschetta which was also very good, both had steak which we enjoyed and were cooked well but what let it down was the sauces( luckily they came on the side) my wife's blue... Everything about the experience of visiting this restaurant was excellent. Is a very small quaint restaurant with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The fish food in particular of worthy of extolling. The seabass with chilli sauce is absolutely exquisite and for a start I would recommend the king prawns with chilli sauce cooked Mediterranean style on a bed of... More

There was a good pre-theatre menu offering two- or three- courses. Service was quick (because we WERE going to the theatre). The place was really busy from early on, so booking is essential, I'd say. Nice staff too. check out their website to see sample menus. It's at the bottom of Hope Street , so give yourself enough time to... More
