This an excellent restaurant offering some of the most delicious food in Glasgow: the humous starter is fantastic and the grilled meat is tender, well-marinated and moist with superb rice and nan bread. This was an lucky find in a lively part of town.

Went here with two friends for a late lunch. We ordered three vegetarian dishes. Halfway through my meal I encountered a large chunk of meat in my aubergine. The staff were apologetic and replaced the meal. A member of staff brought the dish back to show the chef and later advised that the chef poured the wrong sauce on the... More

We had spotted the restaurant the day before whilst heading onto city by car. Having spent the day visiting galleries and monuments this was a treat to find. Attentive staff, good food with clear descriptions on menu, nan bread superb and fun to watch being made. The Australian cabernet sauvignon was a pleasant suprise as easily as good as we... More

Good food - especially the chicken, very tender and moist. Staff are a bit abrupt but restaurant is very authentic.

A friend and I had lunch here during the Easter holiday. Their two course lunch deal is excellent value and I was very impressed indeed by the quality of the food and, indeed, of the quantity too. The decor is super as is the service and I couldn't fault this restaurant in any way at all. I look forward to... More

Back in the mid noughties, there was this shoebox of a middle eastern restaurant a few doors up from Roots and Fruits on the Great Western Road. It was so minute it barely squeezed five tables in. They did great food and even better, they had a BYOB policy and had the sense to be located 50 feet from a... More

Thought we'd try something a bit different with a Persian restaurant. There were a few vegetarians in the group which can always be a bit of an issue but this place delivered delicious food at a great price. Cannot fault the service either; our waitress was attentive without being overbearing and each dish was brought to us piping hot. Lovely!

Thought we would come here for a birthday celebration, and we were seated in perhaps not the best seat next to the stairs (bit crowded) although shortly after did offer us any seat to move to. Restaurant nice and clean, nice decor and music not too loud so you can still hear each other! Food was very nice - although... More

My and my wife visited this restaurant using a voucher we'd received as a Christmas present. The voucher allowed us a mixed starter platter to share with a nan bread plus a choice of main course each from a set menu. My wife (who has been a vegetarian for over 20 years) ordered a vegetarian dish from the menu and... More
