We went for the 4 course taster lunch and our senses were ignited by the delicious food we enjoyed! Truly stunning food and although portion sizes were not huge, we left satisfied. Service was attentive and the location is terrific. A fabulous place to go for a special occasion!

We went here last week for an anniversary dinner and chose the celebration menu with wine matching. At £60 for 6 courses and another £49 for the wine, it might seem somewhat excessive but when you realise that you get 6 large glasses of wine to perfectly match each dish it works out at not a bad value for money... Took my partner for his birthday on a Saturday evening and the experience was excellent. The sommelier was knowledgeable and we had a different glass of wine to match each course and we are now total converts. The food was delightful with a very different vegetarian selection and the service was excellent. Looking forward to going back.

Staying overnight in Glasgow for a concert and looking for a good restaurant - after some research we booked Chardon d'Or, because the Chef Brian Maule worked at La Gavroche for 11 years. We were not disappointed it was fantastic , one of the better meals we have had. My wife had the trio of duck starter, terrine, smoked breast... More

This was an excellent example fo high end dinning - nothing not to like. Staff were well trained and attentive - good range of dishes on the menu - a lovely interior - well positioned. We had a great night - thank you.

We were given vouchers as a wedding gift and we can't thank them enough. We were booked for 8pm on a Saturday evening and on arrival we could see the restaurant was busy. This in no way impacted on our experience in any way. We were greeted on arrival and our jackets were taken before we went to our table.... More

Unexpectedly I was invited for lunch late last week with a note saying I will pick somewhere and advise you later. The message came through, "there is a new lunch menu at Brian Maule's , let's try it". Having visited regularly when it first opened I am a fan and not having been there for some time I was wondering... More

Really pleasant meal in a very nice restaurant.......but it wasn't perfect. We weren't offered a drink when we arrived and the waiter ( manager?) plunged straight into our chice of food. Things did pick up and the food was very good.......we had eaten earlier in the week at Castle Terrace in Edinburgh, so had been really spoilt. There seemed to... More
