Its been a while since I had been to the Piccolo in Glasgow but I happy to report that their standards have not slipped one iota. That was the first time I've had the celebration menu and it was superb.Lovely food, cracking wine and a fine brandy to finish off with. My partner must have changed her mind about three times... the service food and place are all of a high standard. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow. The last time that I went I had not booked but they still manage to accommodate us and the service was still great.

Nice place, cosy and opulent. The italian fare we had reminded me of italian food in the 1980s, ie had prawn cocktail in the starter menu and was italian for Scotland ie plenty of fried food. Starter of the fattoria soup was really really good and the steak medallions were tasty indeed. Not wowed by the food-no finesse to the... More

We enjoyed the set Celebration Dinner for eight which was excellent, the quality and value were superb as was the service. The Argyle Street location is convenient if not salubrious, don't let it put you off!

Enjoyed our meal but waiters rushed us when having our sweet and served our coffee before finishing it. They then presented our bill and stood there despite the fact we had not drunk our coffee. Once we were finished our coffee they stood with our coats in their arms. The restaurant was half empty so it was not as though... More

My husband and I visited Piccolo Mondo for the first time tonight. What a gem. We dined on the novelty meal menu. This offered an aperitif , a choice of starter or dessert ,a choice of main and coffee tea or a liqueur to finish for £12.50 per person. The portions were ample, the food delicious and the service courteous... More

This restaurant was recommended to me by a colleague who is local, what can I say, for an Italian it was very good, great food, excellent value for money for what we had, service was very good. Great restaurant for any occasion. Would go back if in Glasgow again.

We've been here before and haven't been disappointed, tonight was no exception. We went for the Celebration deal, which gives you an aperitif each,, 3 course meal from a fairly extensive menu, a bottle of wine, coffee and mints, and a liqueur each, for £55 for a couple. Food was nice as always (if not the most adventurous menu), tasty... More

I recently had a family meal for my birthday. The waiting staff couldn't have been friendlier and were very accommodating since we had a very grumpy 2 year old with us. The food was also delicious making the whole afternoon a really memorable and enjoyable experience!

Excellent deal - 3 courses plus aperitif and digestif for £17.50 - and very good food, but there the praise ends. Phony Italian smarm, conveyor belt atmosphere. Tried to ask a simple question about how long we had before we would need to vacate the table, and got so many versions of a smart answer I was on the point... More

Hi there, Many thanks for taking time for leaving a review. I do sincerely apologise if you feel you were rushed out the door. Unfortuantely our special menus are all on a two hour turn around and you should have been advised of this when the booking was made. If this was not the case please accept our apologies. On... More
