Had a fantastic meal at Mae Ping tonight. Mixed seafood sharing platter to start followed by a massaman chicken curry. The food in this restaurant is superb. Don't live local but will make a point of returning very soon.

Was recommended this restaurant by a friend. On arrival informed the owner Doug, that it had been recommended. Great menu with a lot of voice. Ordered the Thai fish cakes and they were very nice. Asked for recommendation for main course, Doug recommended his favourite Duck curry, can't remember the actual dish name but it was fantastic. Doug even introduced...

Wanted to try somewhere new on a Friday night so went here. The food was delicious and the menu had so much choice. The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly and attentive! Would highly recommend going here.
The food was very good and authentic. My wife is vegetarian and the chef personaly cam and discussed the options tneycould offer. Showed willingness to cook a dish suggested which was delicious. The ambience is pleasant.
As a regular diner at Mae Ping and a great lover of Thai food.I am just back from yet another delicious meal where i had Green Curry Asparagus Risotto( new on the menu) it was absolutely delicious, it is thoroughly recommended

We then shared 2 curries and 1 bowl of rice which was enough. The quality of the food was outstanding and had an obvious made...

We visited this restaurant at the weekend and were very impressed by the quality of the food. The food was well presented and full of flavour. The staff were lovely - very welcoming and obliging. The only downside was that I found the restaurant very cold - wished I had worn a warmer jersey or fleece.
My second visit to this restaurant was at the end of March 2013. Once again the food was lovely although, again, there was an imbalance of rice to meat and sauce. Despite the unassuming frontage and location the food is excellent and this is real Thai dining. I know because my sister hosted a dinner there with some friends of hers visiting from Thailand! Everyone agreed! Nothing to complain about really. Affordable, friendly, prompt service and above all authentic and good food.
Me and my partner ate in the Mae ping restaurant over the Easter weekend. A warm welcome from the host and made to feel comfortable from the beginning. The menu choices are plentiful without being exhaustive, we eventually settled for the mixed starters for two served with three dips all of which were tasty and freshly prepared. For the main...
