The food was ok, but really pricey. The dinning area was small and cramped. There wasn't a large selection of dishes. The desserts were tasty, but again they were pricey. When we were getting our food, there was no clean forks available. We had to wait a bit for someone to get us some. The staff was nice and did... More

In the worst recession to hight Ireland, you'll still often Q to get a table here... why..?, well its four things I think, 1/ fab. quality food thats always interesting 2/ its Real.. none of the poser crap, even in the boom times - you equally fit in with a wolley jumper as in a designer suit 3/ value ,... One of the loveliest restaurants/cafés I've ever been to. Situated in sufflok st near the famous Molly Malone statue it's easy to reach. Even though the prices are rather high, a visit at Avoca café is totally worth it.

We went here for a family visit. Very busy resturant, but a fast moving system. There are kids menus but these are quite big so a good option here for younger kids is a plain scone, I haven't met one kid yet here that doesn't devour them, served with jam and cream they are fab! We had soup and sandwich... More

Really tasty food, nice selection. Recommend the burger or the lamb tabouleh (pictured), which came with 4 dips. Crab salad was lovely but not a big portion for the price. Fresh scones are gorgeous, soup is very reasonably priced with lovely bread. Beautiful cafe upstairs, smaller cafe downstairs if you want something simple like coffee & cake.

I try to have lunch here every time I am visiting Dublin which is about once a month- I wish it was more often, as it is the most beautiful dining space in Dublin. I remember it as a piano sales room when I was a child. The food is always fab- the salads especially are huge and (potentially) healthy... More

I love this cafe and have been going for many years. The service is always fantastic, food delicious and very fresh. It's a rare find in today's society with chain restaurants all over producing the same old pasta or burger to come across a gem with delicious healthy home-made food is served in an environment with warm and care. The... More
