On a cold, wet and windy day in Dublin, Fish and Chips seemed the answer as I was passing Beshoffs and caught the smell. It wasn't exactly swanky, or even ultra clean and tidy, but then, it's a chipper. Unfortunately the food wasn't good either. I asked for my chips to be well done and they were more or less.... More

You may eat with less than 10 euros and being serviced in less than 10 minutes, but the quality of the food was poor. The fish had no taste and badly fried while the chips were barely edible.

I had heard good reviews, but chips were very bland, and the fish was rather uninspiring. An interesting "creamy" taste, but not what I was expecting. Could be far better, and with such a lot of passing trade, it should be. Telltale sign, I suppose is that at noon, when it should be getting busy, it wasn't...

It is fine and ok. But nothing extra-ordinary. You get decent fish and good chunky chips but they are available at any fish-shop, so why bother?

A nice old fashioned, unfussy fish and chip shop with dining area in central Dublin. The batter was crispy and the fish succulent. Chips very good too. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is in a great position in the city centre.

No frills about this place. The seating area is spartan but spotlessly clean. The staff are helpful and to a certain degree, wait at table. The highlight, as you'd expect, is the fish chips and mushy peas. The fish was crisp, not overcooked and the batter cooked thoroughly (a pet hate of mine has always been batter that is so... More

I had heard of this place as being one of the best places in Dublin for fish and chips, as as it was fairly close to our hotel, we went there to try it out. It didn't hurt that we found this one by wandering about, and had no idea until later where the competition was... lol It is an... More

Very good fish and chips here, nothing fancy, just good portions, good quality fish and proper chips. Definitely recommend it.

This is the best fish and chips I have had since moving to Ireland eight years ago and very inexpensive. Everything freshly cooked.
