I have now been here a few times, either for a romantic dinner or with a group of friends. The steaks are always delicious (fillet is great, rump also very nice and slightly cheaper). A bit on the pricey side but worth it. Also the chocolate fondant is worth a try, yummy! Extensive selection of beer, efficient staff, make sure... More

Went in for an early dinner and the food was delicious. It's not cheap but everything was amazing. The service was very good even though they took a while to bring the check. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Dublin.

My younger brother suggested that we go to the bull and castle for a couple of afternoon pints and their chicken wings which he promised are "the best there is". We took station at the bar, and the barman talked us through some different beers and let a sample one before deciding. We settled on Five Lamps which was decent... More

We stopped in a for an early dinner and chose the 3-course option. It was good, there was nothing that really stood out as amazing but nothing was bad either. The ribs were a bit too saucy and on the dry side, the medium rib eye was overcooked to our liking but the beer selection was wonderful. The atmosphere was... More

While in Dublin, some friends and I were looking for a place to eat lunch. We were walking to the Guinness Storehouse, and decided to eat here because it was on the way. I'm glad we did!!! It's a cure place, and I had the best fish and chips here!! Great service and friendly staff!! I would definitely recommend this... More

I used to work next door to the Bull and Castle for year. It's a great gastro pub. Downstairs a lovely restaurant that do a great burger and have a decent selection of reasonably prices steaks. Upstairs in the beer hall the food is definitely less exciting, but the beer selection is great. Great place for your after work pints.... More

I went to The Bull & Castle with a group of 5 on a Sunday evening. The food served is mainly steak but there are other options. I had an 8oz Fillet Steak which cost 27 euro with a baked potato. I could not fault the food. The steak was cooked to perfection, exactly how I ordered it. The Bull... More

I visited the bull and castle on the recommendation of some work colleagues this week. Thankful I took their advice. I’ve not seen such a broad selection of award winning beers in many a year! And barstaff so knowledgeable about their beers too. Willing for you to “try before you buy” and have a teaser taster… The foot waiters was... More

Had an early evening meal here with my wife and were very lucky with not having a reservation as they turned everyone without one after us! Choose to order of the early bird menu and was really happy with the choice and price, the Beer menu is the best I've ever seen and the manager Geoff went through a few... More
