We went here on may bank holiday week-end to celebrate my son's birthday. We had been previously and were impressed so decided to re-visit. Again, we had an excellent meal. The seafood platter is so good. We had chilli con carne, chicken skewers and seafood skewers for mains. All excellent. My son was presented with different desserts for his birthday.... More

We found this place by chance walking around Killarney fairly late (after 8pm) on a Friday evening. We didn't have a reservation and we were a large group (6 people) so we weren't confident in finding a great place. However I'm really happy we found this place. The welcome was great, they didn't mind us not having a reservation. The... More

After 3 nights of fancy wining and dining at lovely restaurants we fancied a quieter less precocious venue with simple and tasty food. We discovered Casita Mexiana and were pleasantly surprised. Being the first ones there at 8pm we were a little dubious but the small restaurant soon filled up as we sipped our tasty margaritas. We shared cheesy nachos... More

Went to Casita with my wife for a relaxing meal and some good cuisine and I definitely feel it delivered on both counts. The staff were exellcent, the setting colorful but intimate and the food was very very tasty. We ordered two starters, a tapas platter for main, and a mango ice-cream dessert. I was disappointed I did not go... More

Went to Casita Mexicana for our 1st anniversary dinner. Decided to book early so that we could enjoy a quieter meal and it was the perfect choice! Well looked after by the waitress, the food was delicious and very quickly prepared. Didn't have to wait for anything. Would recommend this for anyone!

My husband and I dined in this wonderful little restaurant recently. As we were the only people there at opening time, we had a chance to talk to the lovely lady owner, who explained the menu extensively to us which we greatly appreciated. The restuarant wasnt long filling up (always a good sign), however we were not rushed in the... More

First let me start by saying that the owners were very friendly and welcoming and since we were the only people there at opening time we had a chance to chat with the female owner quite a bit. The decor and atmosphere felt very authentic for a Mexican restaurant and the menu choices themselves were authentic offerings. Being from California... More

Myself and my husband were staying in Killarney last weekend and had the pleasure of eating in the lovely Casita Mexicana. We started off with some tapas, prawns, meatballs and pulled pork which was very tasty, we washed this down with a lovely bottle of pinot grigio at a very reasonable price. He then had a prawn burrito and I... More

Tried Casita Mexicana over the weekend. The restaurant is a little hidden away but well worth visiting. We tried a range of dishes across the menu and everything was delicious. In particular would highly recommend the seafood sharing platter. Also the Irish craft beer they serve is fantastic.
