Not my idea of a good pasty, pale and soggy pastry with a grey and peppery meat paste inside, not good.

This pastie shop is a Bolton landmark and their pasties (plus pies, hotpots and cakes) are superb. They even deliver to a party or ;do' with giant tubs of mushy peas to feed your guests - wonderful stuff.
everytime we go on holiday we go to friended Ireland Spain Tenerife and recently Crete and we are ordered to box them up and take them frozen they last the flights frozen and go down a treat the ex boltonians there is always at least a dozen on my freezer at home
Ordered pasties for our son's party and they went down a treat!!! The children, teenagers and adults enjoyed them and they were an alternative to the normal buffet.

I live not to many miles away and return here as the pasties are the best both potato and meat and the cheese, my husband likes the sausage rolls too. Even had them a functions with mushy peas and red cabbage, not a bad price either.

Because its so popular be prepared to queue...

Carrs pasties are the best, bar none. We regularly buy them in frozen and uncooked and keep a stock in the freezer. Our granddaughter loves them as well.
Great little shop, have nothing to complain about, would recommend this to anyone visiting Bolton for a quick snack Keep it up
