We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at the restaurant. I had booked in advance online and we found the restaurant to be quite busy especially with local people. The small menu was written on the chalkboard in french. Our very friendly server happily translated the options for us. We both decided on the steak for the main course with polenta (Euro... More

Its a small, open restaurant, with cozy decoration and more french people than tourists. For me this restaurant is typical french. We had a great evening with good food nice waiters . Small menu, but very delicious. Try the dessert, cheesecake with apple and the Chocolathérapie...mmhhh yummy

Small with short menu, sophisticated and delicious fresh food. Paradise for foodies.. I ate oysters (raw) with fried packets of pigs trotters... to give you and idea, and Ris d'Agneau for a main.. my daughter fillet steak and chips... so you don't have to be alternative! and a fabulous cheesecake for puds. Highly recommended!!

My wife and I went on our anniversary. The waitress was nice, a refreshing face in the middle of the bitter wastes of french attitudes towards tourism. The food was mediocre or less. We ordered the premier dish, which tasted more like beef teriyaki; correction - stale beef teriyaki, and left it on our plates with two bites eaten. Then... More

Ok, so t isn't entirely their fault that I chose Andouiette for my plat but in the name of all that is holy, should that even be on the menu??? All four of us tasted it and all agreed it was about the worst thing they had even put int their mouths. It smelled like barn, tasted like turd smells... More

We spent four nights in Bordeaux and this was the best meal we had. Having read some reviews about the service we were a little reluctant to go, but after inspecting the menu and seeing a full house we decided to take a chance and make a booking. What a good decision. The restaurant was full within 15 minutes of... More

This is a small informal restaurant in the centre of Bordeaux. I can share some of the reservations about service, though our waitress remained friendly in spite of being a bit stretched. But the quality of the food makes it worthwhile. Our table of four picked from across the menu and each dish across the three courses was exceptional. The... More

This is a classic example of a restaurant where the chef in the kitchen makes excellent food but the people manning the restaurant have no control of the orders of the customer. For the food-making, this deserves a perfect 5! But if you are willing to wait for your food for a minumum of 30 min and wait for your... More

The waitress tried really hard to make sure they met expectations. her English was very good , and she explained the dishes in detail. We had 2 courses - main and dessert which was ample. Monkfish was superb , the lamb was great. Desert was a standout , but the entrees(appetizers) also looked very very good as they were walked past.... More
