We decided to have dinner here as we happened to be in the area and noticed the set dinner menu. The "Menu Malakoff" was 16€, even on a weekend, for a set starter, entree and dessert. The entree was a nice chicken and rice dish with a good sauce. It was actually a surprising amount of food for Paris, considering... More

Good food, service and location make this one of our favorites in Paris. The excellent staff even gave us a fun French lesson when the rush was over. Like many Paris restaurants, this is a terrific place to relax, enjoy the food and wine and watch the passing pedestrians and traffic. A couple of hours here can lower your BP... More

Location is great, especially if you are with grandparents who just want to get a photo with the Eiffel tower in the back, and then go for dinner, without walking too far. Restaurant was busy and loud, which we love, and a wonderful and warm atmosphere. We took the set menu, but the portions are huge. You can freely share... More

The restaurant has a great location. The food was very good and we didn't wait for your order long. The service was also great. They all spoke English.

There are several restaurants around this area. but based about the menu we choose this one, and boy am i glad we did. The waiters was very welcoming and presented us with a menu in English (a good bonus) and was very attentive and funny throughout our meal. So while in France you must try either Frog legs or snails,... More

Eating can be expensive in Paris, expecially at the Trocadero. I was in Paris on business and a colleague and myself had a night off. We noticed the Malakoff was popular and went in to try it. Service was casual in that well practised Parisian way but the prices were very reasonable for the location and we enjoyed our food... More

It's difficult to find a varied menu in Paris, if you are a vegetarian. Way too many French restaurants offer one choice at best - and that's usually an omelette! Le Malakoff has far more of a variety and food is tasty and well presented in a relaxed atmosphere. Locals eat here regularly so it doesn't feel 'touristy' like some... More

We went to this restaurant since it was very close to the Eiffel tower. Even tho is close to that area the majority of the people were locals. Prices are average around that area. I had steak frites and my wife had pasta. Both meals were good. Service was average and it could have been better but we were there... More

Visited a few times for food & drinks while staying nearby. We very much enjoyed the food & drink on offer and found the staff really helpful and welcoming. Our French is not fantastic, but staff were happy to converse in English. The location was good, very close to the Eiffel Tower and right at the Trocadero metro stop. Would... More

We ate from the price fix evening menu, at €32.00. They allowed my wife to choose onion soup as a starter, as she didn't like the standard choices. She had lamb chops and crepes with chocolate sauce. I had snails, confit duck leg and creme brûlée. Everything was perfect. Although the lamb was undercooked. Service was excellent. Especially for Paris.... More
