Popped in for a pint of Tennents after a morning's sightseeing, been here a few years ago and found it really welcoming. Not this time though, although they have the Tennents sign all lit up as you come in, i was bruntly informed by the manager (who had clearly been sampling what he sells) "Haven't had tennents for years, it's... The bar staff weren't the best, found myself standing at the bar for about 5 mins mayb longer and then someone walked in the door and got served before me despite him standing next to me! It's not the service you expect for the price u pay for some of the drinks, it's just rude especially when they look straight... More

Since this pub is no longer under Scottish ownership, it has turned into a theme pub - the same as the two others in the "chain", the Thistle and the Highlander (where we were told we had funny accents so we must be Scottish ....!) Last time we went, there was nobody Scottish behind the bar & no Scottish music... More

This Scottish pub in the middle of the old Marais area looks charming and intimate from the outside but beware it is not what it seems. The service is neither warm nor welcoming and the pub food is both generic and disappointing. The beers are the general fare, what you can get anywhere in Paris. When will a real Scot... More

This place is pretty grungy and even if it isn't actually dirty, it fells like it is. Expensive but so are all Irish/Scottish pubs in Paris

This is not a Scottish pub. Scottish pubs, despite their often rough exterior, tend to be friendly, jolly places, where the staff (and often the customers) may have a gruff appearance, but there usually lies a sense of humour and a heart of gold within all in the house. After some stunningly beautiful Vespers in Notre Dame Cathedral, I felt... More

Very pleasant pub with the proper UK flavour to make one feel at home. A fair choice of drinks and an interesting choice of whiskies make it a good place to pick a drink alongside basic but quality food. A good stop when being around Paris' city centre.

I visited Paris during the 6 nations in march and watched the Italy / Wales game here. The bar had a good traditional feel to it, and a lot mor seating than you would expect. There were a selection of Ales from France and UK and by the looks of the food being served it was to a good standard... More
