Service and food were both very good at Le Piquet. Helpful staff who were patient with my french. Great espresso.
We stopped here to relax over coffee and some cold San Pellegrino after a busy morning of sightseeing. Service was really friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere was pleasant. A leisurely stop among locals. We only wish we could have returned for a full meal; everything looked great. No tourist trap--it's the real deal.
First time in France for my wife and I and two children. The food was very good -we ordered the Salmon, Sirloin, Teriyaki Chicken, and Escargot. The waiting staff were very friendly and patient with our lack of French (despite the restaurant being full for lunch), and knowing that it was my first time eating escargot one of the waiters... We were looking for another restaurant in our first night in paris but it was full and with a preposterous waiting line... so we ended up here, the waitress was nice from the beginning, the food was quite good for a reasonable price. I had the beef steak with chips and they were very good (the chips were amazing). Good... More
Where everyone knows my name. You know what it is like to be a "regular" somewhere? Anytime you walk in everyone looks up, smiles and says "Bonjour!" Well this is my place. Great for coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Unpretentious, honest food at a good price.
When staying on ave de la Motte Piquet, I researched a place for a nice dinner. Upon reading the reviews for le Piquet, we walked the 2 blocks for dinner. Was everything expected and more. The servers were accomodating to our American ways - we as tourists were in the minority. Food was excellent- I had the Carnet burger and... More

We went here because our first choice was too busy, but, so glad we came here. My husband was looking for the burger and the waiter told us that they were all gone, but then came back and said they had one left, it was so nice of him to do this! Our food came really quickly and was so... More
Our lunch at Le Piquet was our very first meal (ever!) in Paris. We chose it because it looked exactly the way we imagined a Parisian sidewalk cafe to be. The food was lovely, delicious beef bourguignon! All six of us enjoyed our meals. Sitting outdoors was a bit "cozy" but still fun. Prices were reasonable and service was good.
