Description: Le Petit Bordelais features regular in the restaurant columns of French newspapers and magazines. This chic fine dining restaurant is between les Invalides and the Eiffel Tower. The décor is sophisticated and the service warm and welcoming. There is a definate South West influence in the regularly changing menu, for example the side of beef in a Bordeaux sauce.

Philipe the chef is so passionate about his food and restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal in every way...A funny thing was that we dont like mushrooms but we ordered the morels and got a whole plate of them..but, they were awesome. We had the lamb and veal dishes..perfect! And the chocolate dessert was so delicious...We loved every minute of... More

Terrific entrees, great wine list and nice neigborhood location. Nice ambiance - sufficiently romantic but not pretentious. Very good service.

Went to this place with the family. Lobster with dumplings as starter, Scallop and rice as main course. Both were delicious. Prices were slightly steep but what is not in Paris. It was will worth the experience

We pre-booked our table online and had no problems. The restaurant is quite small and we sat in a long row of two-seater tables (a long padded seat runs along the wall and the other side is chairs) so you are squeezed in but as you taste the food you will forget about the close proximity of your neighbours. We... More

Excellent food in a great and relaxed atmosphere. My wife and I just got back from a lovely evening. We ordered a la carte, three courses with water and excellent wines by the glass. Bill was just under €150. Service was discrete and friendly and we appreciated the chef and owner coming out to chat with each table towards the... More

Le Petit Bordelais was a very nice, small restaurant with excellent food. We ordered a 5 course dinner, and it was plenty of food, to much for somebody, but the presentation of the food and the taste was excellent! A pleasent and relaxing dinner to a reasonable price. We will certanly come back next time we visit Paris.

I found this restaurant on a French website and it was highly recommended. I travelled over on the 9am Eurostar and was sitting in the restaurant by 1pm French time. Very comfortable, not noisy and plenty of room. Staff were attentive and friendly and spoke English. The lunch was un-rushed and most enjoyable. Food was excellent. The chef obviously takes... More

This small and elegant restaurant located between the Invalides and the Tour Eiffel offers good food at reasonable prices. My wife and I, we took the four courses degustation menu with wine which was excellent. It was a very pleasant and relaxing dinner. The owner-chef Phillipe came to talk with the guests one to one. He greated us after the... More

We went with the degustation menu and had the matched wines to go with it. Lovely setting, good service, and the food and wine were first class. We’d recommend the degustation menu, preferably with the wine, for a very pleasant and relaxing dinner out.

Tucked away on a short street between the Invalides and the Eiffel Tower, this small restaurant offers very good food at reasonable prices. The owner-chef, Philppe, watches over the dining room like a hawk, making sure every detail is taken care of. The clientele seems to be mostly local, with many repeat visitors, judging by their familiarity with the staff.... More
