Decent food at good prices if you consider that you are in the heart of paris. Friendly staff and traditional decoration instore.
I recently traveled to Paris with my daughter and granddaughter. My granddaughter is vegan so it was important to find restaurants that we could all enjoy. While out one night actually looking for another restaurant, unable to find it and just about to give up, we came across Aarapana. Anis, the Host was outside and greeted us with a warm... More
After making the rounds of the restaurants in this area to compare the different East Indian ones, we decided to go to this one because it was the only one that offered a buffet option. For 12,50 euros, we got fresh salad (the dressing could have used more flavour, though), samosas with nice sauces (mint, hot, and ketchup), soup, spicy... More
We ate here three out of five evenings in Paris, and had the buffet each time. We're vegetarians, and greatly enjoyed the Dhal Makhani, the spinach curry, and the samosas. They replenished the dishes frequently. There was a chicken curry and tandoori chicken for the meat-eaters. It was a very good meal and a good value.
We had lunch in this Indian restaurant two days. Simple Indian food. Not very spicy. We all enjoyed food. Non veg preparation was very good. Curd was tasty.
We ordered off the menu here, not the buffet. All the dishes were great. I am a vegan, and the aubergine pakoras and spinach potato curry were sensational. Great service too.
I ate the buffet here. If you like Indian cuisine this small (really small) restaurant is not horrible but is overpriced for what you get and is nothing to brag about. What is different about it is the decoration, very artistic and attractive, reason why I decided to check them out. I was disappointed, an service was mediocre. After paying... More
The restaurant is buffet-style, but maybe you will have a better experience if you order a fresh platter. The chicken was kind of tough and not very flavorful at all; nor were the potatoes. I expect a certain bare minimum with Indian food as I eat very much of it any chance I get, so I know a thing or... More
We loved the Indian cuisine. It is a buffet style with several common Indian favorites for a very reasonable price. It is very near the Notre Dame Cathedral. The wait help was very friendly and spoke excellent English.
The restaurant is very near to the Latin Quartier of Paris. The food is very good and some of the flavors very spicy. The quantity is more than what you can expect. I was enchanted by a mint cream that was soooo delightful! Although the cleaning was not the maximun (but that is true for almost all the restaurants in... More
