A tapas bar this is not as there are no tapas however the ham, cheese and pate plates on offer are good although overpriced. In all the time we were there not one hot dish was served; mainly because there is no kitchen. For cold snacks and overpriced yet palatable wine it is good but do not come here looking...

Nimes was my first stop on a trip around the region and A La Tchatche was one of the places that I wanted to try based on reviews on Trip Advisor. There are lots of places in Nimes for a posh sit-down meal but this is a genuine tapas bar/restaurant with a lively atmosphere to match.

we were in Nice, felt so touristic and ripped off...until we went to this little tapas bar in Nimes that i changed my impression about French food

fresh!
local produce, mainly French but some Spanish tapas, chorizo, morcilla and magret sech are to die for!
