We had a lovely meal in Les Airelles! The waitress/owner was very friendly & helpful. The previous night in 'Le Couchon a L'oreille' (DO NOT GO THERE), I was branded an 'awkward customer' & told that I shouldn't be going out to eat in restaurants as I am lactose intolerant, however, this proves not to be the case, as the...

The food was great. Good price. The dessert was PERFECT!!! Homemade!!! The owner does the service and her husband is in the kitchen.
We were in Annecy for just a Thursday and Friday night, so having ascertained Les Airelles was closed on Fridays, we made our way there on Thursday evening.
If you want good value food well prepared, then this restaurant (and the Bistro du Rhone a few steps farther up the road) are in sharp contrast to many of the restaurants...

Visited on our second night in Annecy. Excellent food, service and ambiance. The waitress/owner(?) was on her own and did an admirable job. We went for the set menu du jour. For starters we hadaubergine with roblochon chesse, superb and very cheesy and a le escargot. As a main we had a chicken in cream sauce with prawns, which also was...

Annecy residents for four years, but not been to Les Airelles before. Went there last week. We had planned to have lunch at Bistro du Rhone just along the street, but when we arrived it was closed for the summer holidays. Decided to try Les Airelles and were happy that we did.
This is a good quality restaurant, serving well...

We ate here our first night. It is a bit out of town but near where we stayed. If you are in Annecy i suggest you ditch the canal side tourist places and head here. For €25 we had 3 great, honest french dishes. Escargot in a beautiful Sorrel sauce, a cracking Fillet et frites (hard to impress with a...

Les Airelles serves very good authentic french food. It is in a commercial street about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. We really enjoyed goats cheese with aubergine starter, an OK steak, then an exceptionally good chocolate mousse. Take a walk and you will not be disappointed.
Very good service. Very friendly. I don't speak french well but I was trying to, so the hostess explained everything in english and in french. The food (magret de canard and entrecote) were marvillous, like they were made specially for us.
We tried to visit on a Saturday evening - it was clearly shut and there was no indication of why - or that it might re-open! Not clever....
